- How can you change the mailing address for your bill?
If you're a property owner, managing agent or authorised representative, you can update an address by completing our Mailing address changes form.
You'll need a copy of the bill on hand to complete the form.
If you need to change more than one mailing address, you need to submit a separate form for each property. - Why don't you have any water?
What are the most common reasons for no water supply?
- Occasionally we turn the meter tap off to repair your private water pipes. A plumber may also turn it off while working on your property. Please check it's in the 'on' position (turn anti-clockwise like normal household taps).
- If you live in a property that shares a water meter, eg a block of units, someone may have turned off the water supply to the entire block to repair a fault. Contact your body corporate or strata management to investigate.
- We may be fixing a broken or damaged water main and need to turn off the water supply to fix it. Register for water outage alerts if you'd like us to notify you when we need to turn off the water supply to your property.
Please check our water supply & service updates map to see if we're working near your property. A problem in a nearby street may affect your property even though you can't see it.
What can you do if you have no water and your meter tap is turned on?
13 20 90 (24 hours/7 days) to report a fault.
The meter tap controls the water supply to your property - it's not a standard garden tap. Always check that it's turned on before contacting us.
- How can you update your Direct Debit details?
You can change or cancel your Direct Debit arrangement online at any time.
If you didn’t originally set up your Direct Debit online or can't remember the email address you used to register, please call us on 8849 4949 during working hours.Need to stop a payment?
Please contact us at least two working days before the due date if you want to stop your Direct Debit payment. Call us on 13 20 92.

- How can you get a diagram showing Sydney Water's pipes and assets on your property?
Service location diagrams are plans created from our computerised mapping system that show our pipes and structures.
They show:- our water, wastewater and stormwater pipes
- the point of connection for a property to our wastewater system
- structures or valves that help us operate our systems
- property and road information.
