UPDATE: Burst Water Main on Picrite Close, Pemulwuy
5:30AM 11 April 2024

Sydney Water crews are currently onsite at Picrite Close, Pemulwuy following reports of a broken water main. 

Technicians have identified a large break in the network and are in the process of isolating the main. Properties across Greystanes, Wentworthville, South Wentworthville, Pendle Hill, Constitution Hill, Girraween, Westmead, Mays Hill, Parramatta, Merrylands, Merrylands West are impacted and may be experiencing lower than normal to no water pressure.

Our crews are working to restore normal water supply as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience caused to our customers.

Sydney Water crews are responding to a burst watermain at Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove.

Network technicians have isolated the main and approximately 31 properties are experiencing lower than normal to no water pressure.

Normal water supply is expected to return by 8PM.

A dedicated customer advocate is onsite. Sydney water apologises for any inconvenience to our customers.

Sydney Water crews are responding to a burst water main at Devlin St, Ryde.

Network technicians have isolated the main and repairs expected to commence later this evening to minimise impact to traffic.

A dedicated Customer Advocate is onsite to work with impacted customers.

Sydney Water crews are responding to a watermain break at Old Prospect Road, Greystanes.

Network technicians are on-site and have isolated the main with repairs to commence shortly.

110 properties may be experiencing lower than normal to no water pressure.

Normal water supply is expected to be restored by 11pm.

Sydney Water crews are responding to a watermain break at Liverpool Road, Strathfield.

Network technicians have isolated the main and approximately 689 properties may experience lower than normal to no water pressure while repairs are underway.

Normal water supply is expected to be restored by 10pm.

Sydney Water crews are responding to a water main break on Helen Street, Lane Cove

Network technicians have isolated the main and repairs are underway.

333 properties are currently impacted with no water and 166 may be experiencing lower than normal water pressure, with normal supply expected to be restored by 3:00pm.

Sydney Water crews are responding to a burst water main on Woodbine Street, North Balgowlah.

Network technicians have isolated the main and repairs are underway.

Water has been restored overnight, however some customers may be experiencing lower than normal water pressure.

Sydney Water crews are responding to a burst water main on Woodbine Street, North Balgowlah.

Network technicians have isolated the main and are in the process of rezoning before commencing repairs.

Around 6,500 customers are currently impacted at Balgowlah, Balgowlah Heights, North Balgowlah, Seaforth, Clontarf, Fairlight and Manly.

Water supply is estimated to be restored by 1100pm, however customers may experience lower than normal pressure while repairs are underway.

Sydney Water crews are responding to a burst water main on Woodbine Street, North Balgowlah.

Network technicians are working to isolate the main before commencing repairs.

Around 6,500 customers are currently experiencing lower than normal or no water pressure at Balgowlah, Balgowlah Heights, North Balgowlah, Seaforth, Clontarf, Fairlight and Manly.

UPDATE: Burst Water Main on Sunnyholt Road, Blacktown
10:30AM 11 August 2023

Sydney Water crews are responding to a burst water main on Sunnyholt Road, Blacktown.

Network technicians have isolated the main and repairs are underway.  

140 properties in Blacktown, Lalor Park and Seven Hills are currently impacted, with water supply expected to be restored by 2:00pm.

Due to the complexity of the break, a further 977 properties in the Blacktown area may experience lower than normal water pressure into this evening while repairs are completed.

UPDATE: Burst water main on Devitt St, Narrabeen
16 July 2023

Sydney Water crews responded to a watermain break at Devitt Street, Narrabeen on Saturday, July 15.

Network technicians successfully isolated the main and repairs are complete.

All customers have water.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers.

Sydney Water crews are responding to a watermain break at Devitt Street, Narrabeen.

Our technicians have isolated the main and will continue to work through the night to complete these complex repairs as safely and quickly as possible. 

All customers have water. However, some may experience lower-than-normal water pressure during repairs.

Normal water supply is expected to be restored by tomorrow afternoon.

UPDATE: Burst water main on Vulcan Street, Guildford
5:00PM 17 June 2023

Sydney Water crews are onsite at a burst water main on Vulcan Street, Guildford.

Network technicians have isolated the break and water supply is returning to normal in Guildford and surrounding suburbs.

Our crews continue working around the clock to complete the repairs quickly and safely, before commencing clean-up operations.

Any customers still experiencing no water are urged to contact us on 13 20 90.

Sydney Water crews are responding to a burst water main on Vulcan Street, Guildford.

Network technicians are working to isolate the main and commence urgent repairs. Properties across Guildford West, Greystanes, Sefton, Woodpark, Chester Hill, Merrylands, Merrylands West, Old Guildford South, Wentworthville, Yennora, Smithfield and Villawood are experiencing lower than normal water or no water pressure.

Our crews are working around the clock to safely complete the work in order to restore normal water supply as soon as possible. Due to the complexity of the break, repairs are ongoing.

Sydney Water crews are responding to a burst water main on Camden Valley Way, Leppington.

Up to 2000 properties in Leppington and Denham Court are currently experiencing lower than normal water or no water pressure.

Network technicians are working to isolate the main and repair the break. Normal water supply will be restored as soon as possible.

UPDATE: Burst water main on Mona Vale Road, St Ives
3:30PM 14 June 2023

Sydney Water crews have been called to a burst water main on the corner of Mona Vale Road and Woodbury Road, St Ives.

Network technicians have isolated the main, with approximately 24 properties expected to experience low or no water pressure while repairs are underway.

Normal water supplies are expected to be restored by 9:00 pm.

Sydney Water crews are responding to a water main break on Oxford Street, Darlinghurst.

Network technicians are attempting to isolate the main and repairs will commence shortly.

Approximately 816 properties are maybe experiencing lower than normal or no water pressure.

Normal water supply is expected to be restored by 10pm tonight.

Sydney Water crews are responding to reports of a burst water main on the Pacific Highway, Mt Colah.

Network technicians have isolated the main with approximately 100 properties experiencing lower than normal or no water pressure as repairs take place.

Normal water supply is expected to be restored by 10pm.

Sydney Water crews have been called to a burst water main at Princess Edward Drive, Dapto.

Network technicians have isolated the main and are working to repair the break as soon as possible.

117 properties are currently impacted by no water, with normal water supplies expected to be restored by 7:00AM tomorrow, Wednesday, 1st February.

Sydney Water crews have been called to a burst water main at Bungarribee Road, Blacktown.

Network technicians have isolated the main and are working to repair the break as soon as possible.

Up to 76 properties may be impacted by lower than normal water pressure or no water, with normal water supplies expected to be restored by 9:00PM.

Sydney Water crews are responding to a watermain leak at Burwood Road, Enfield. 

Network technicians have isolated the main and are commencing repairs.

Approximately 89 properties may experience lower than normal to no water pressure while repairs take place.

Normal water supply is expected to be restored by 6pm this evening.

Sydney Water crews are responding to reports of a burst water main on Burrawong Road, Avalon Beach.

Network technicians have isolated the main which is currently impacting 180 properties. 

Repairs have commenced and normal water supply is expected to return by 1130am.

Sydney Water crews are responding to reports of damage to a water main on Boundary Rd, Box Hill.

Network technicians are working to isolate the main and repair the damage as soon as possible.

Up to 7 customers in Box Hill and Oakville are currently being impacted by low or no water pressure.

Sydney Water crews are responding to reports of a burst water main on the corner of Berry Street and the Pacific Highway, North Sydney.

Network technicians are working to locate and repair the break and restore normal water supplies as soon as possible.

Up to 400 properties in North Sydney and Crows Nest may be impacted by lower-than-normal water pressure or no water.

UPDATE: CROMER Burst water main at Beacon Hill
7:50AM 14 December 2022

Sydney Water crews are responding to a burst water main at Willandra Road, Beacon Hill.

550 properties in Cromer are currently impacted by lower than normal water pressure or no water.

Network technicians have isolated the main and are working to repair the break as quickly as possible, with normal water supplies expected to be restored by 3PM.

A Customer Advocate is liaising with impacted customers. Sydney Water apologises for the inconvenience.


 
UPDATE: Work on Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove

Sydney Water will be conducting investigations into a potential hidden water main leak along Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove.

Network technicians will be onsite to identify the exact location of the leak. Approximately 200 residents on Burns Bay Road and Waterview Drive may experience lower than normal to no water pressure from 8pm if any repairs are required.

The work is being done at night due to restrictions on when we can work on the road. During our investigation, customers may experience increased noise, lights and traffic movements in the area. 

Normal water supply is expected to be restored by 6am tomorrow. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers.

Sydney Water is responding to reports of a water main leak at Karilla Avenue, Lane Cove North.

Network technicians will be conducting repairs today between 8:30am and 1:30pm which is expected to impact water supplies to 62 properties.

Up to 119 properties are currently impacted.

Network technicians are working to repair the break, with normal water supplies expected to be restored by 10pm.

6:00PM 2 December 2022

Sydney Water crews are onsite at Pitt Street in the CBD where a water main break has been identified.

Up to five properties are currently impacted with no water pressure and technicians are onsite and are working to repair the break.

Repairs are expected to be completed and normal water supply restored by 11pm.

UPDATE: Water main break at Lane Cove
3:20PM 1 December 2022

Sydney Water crews attended a water main break on Longueville Road, Lane Cove at 7am today.

Network technicians isolated the main at 8:15am and repairs were completed just after 1:30pm.

Water has been returned to impacted customers with water pressure now back to normal.

Sydney Water crews are responding to a water main break on Longueville Road, Lane Cove.

Network technicians have isolated the main which is impacting up to 381 properties. Repairs have commenced with normal water supply expected to be restored by 1pm.

Sydney Water is responding to reports of a water main break on Terry Road, Eastwood. 

Network technicians are onsite and have isolated the main which is currently impacting 66 properties. Repairs are expected to completed with normal water supply restored by 4pm.

Sydney Water is responding to reports of a water main break on The Boulevard, Lewisham. 

Network technicians are onsite and have isolated the main which is currently impacting 77 properties. Repairs are expected to be completed with normal water supply is expected to be restored by with repairs competed by 4pm.

Sydney Water is responding to reports of a water main break on Hunter Street, Lewisham. 

Network technicians are onsite and have isolated the main which is currently impacting 2608 properties. Normal water supply is expected to be restored by 9pm with repairs competed by 9am Saturday.

UPDATE: Wastewater overflow at Beecroft
1:00PM 4 November 2022

Sydney Water is responding to reports of a wastewater overflow at Karril Avenue, Beecroft

Crews have secured the site and removed a blockage from the sewer main, which was primarily caused by wet wipes and grease.

Signs have been erected to notify the public of the incident, with the clean-up underway.

Sydney Water apologises for any inconvenience caused.


 
UPDATE: Water main leak in Sydney’s CBD
5:00PM 31 October 2022

Sydney Water crews have been called to reports of a water main leak on the corner of George and Bridge Streets in Sydney’s CBD.

Network technicians have isolated the main which is impacting up to 119 customers. We are working as quickly and safely as possible to complete the complex repairs with water supply expected to be returned to normal by 2am.

If these repairs take longer than anticipated, temporary supplies will be implemented overnight.

UPDATE: Water main break at Freemans Reach 
3:00PM 30 October 2022

Sydney Water crews are currently onsite at Creeks Ridge Road, Freemans Reach where a break in the water main has been identified.

Crews are conducting urgent repairs to the network. Currently, 1035 properties at Glossodia and Freemans Reach are impacted and may be experiencing lower than normal or no water pressure.

Impacted residents are likely to have water from 12pm to 2pm today however, water supply may be interrupted from 2pm due to the complexities of repairs with full water supply expected to be returned by midnight.

UPDATE: Water main break at Kingswood
8:00AM 27 October 2022

Sydney Water crews are conducting repairs on a water main leak at Bringelly Rd, KINGSWOOD.

This is impacting water supplies to up to 139 customers.

Our crews are working to safely complete the repairs as quickly as possible. Due to the complexity of these repairs, this is expected to continue throughout the day.

Sydney Water crews have been called to reports of a burst water main at Burraneer Bay Road, Burraneer.

This is currently impacting water supplies to 152 properties.

The main has been isolated with network technicians working to repair the break and restore normal water supplies as soon as possible.

This is currently impacting water supplies to 163 properties.

The main has been isolated with network technicians working to repair the break and restore normal water supplies as soon as possible.

UPDATE: Water main breaks at Kirrawee and Sutherland
8:40AM 12 October 2022

Sydney Water crews have been called to two water main breaks at Oak Road, Kirrawee and Princess Highway Sutherland.

This is currently impacting water supplies to 83 properties.

The main has been isolated with network technicians working to repair the break and restore normal water supplies to our customers as soon as possible.

A Sydney Water customer advocate is onsite liaising with impacted customers.

UPDATE: Water on the road at Lucas Road, Burwood
4:10PM 29 September 2022

Sydney Water crews remain on site at Lucas Road, Burwood where two separate pipe breaks have been identified.

Both pipes have now been isolated, with temporary water supplies restored to all impacted customers.

Crews will continue to work through the night to safely complete these complex repairs, with restoration activities expected to continue for a number of days at the break site.

UPDATE: Water on the road at Lucas Road, Burwood
10:15AM 29 September 2022

Sydney Water was called to reports of water on the road at Lucas Road, Burwood. 

There are two separate pipe breaks in the same location, one water and one wastewater. Both pipes have been isolated, with crews working to safely complete the complex repairs as soon as possible.

Initial reports suggest the break has resulted in the road lifting near the break site.

A dedicated customer advocate is on site and alternative water supplies are being arranged for customers who may be impacted.

We are expecting to have temporary water supplies restored to 42 properties by 2pm, provided the repairs are completed to plan.

Sydney Water would like to apologise to our customers who have been impacted.


 
UPDATE: Water on the road at Lucas Road, Burwood

Sydney Water was called to reports of water on the road at Lucas Road, Burwood.

UPDATE: Burst water main at Blacktown
5:40PM 19 September 2022

Sydney Water crews were called to the site of a burst water main at 130 Main Street, Blacktown this afternoon.

The water main has now been isolated and normal water supplies have been restored to all impacted properties.

Crews will continue working through the night to repair the main break. Restoration of the nearby road surface is expected to continue into tomorrow.

An investigation into the cause of the break will be conducted.
