You can save water and money each year by fixing leaks and installing water-efficient devices.
- Replacing inefficient taps with WELS 4-star rated taps can reduce water use by up to 52%.
- Replacing an inefficient showerhead with a WELS 4-star rated showerhead can reduce water use by up to 50%.
- Replacing a single-flush toilet with a WELS 4-star rated dual-flush toilet can reduce water use by up to 63%.
For 25 years, our WaterFix Residential plumbers have helped customers reduce water bills. In the past 5 years alone, customers have saved over 800 million litres of water.
WaterFix Residential services
- All services are provided by qualified plumbers.
- For visible leaks, we discuss required repair work, suggest water-efficient devices, and do additional repairs you agree to.
- We can supply and install new showerheads, taps and toilets. Choose from our Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (WELS) 4-star standard range (with 3-month workmanship warranty), or provide the item yourself.
- Prices include removal and disposal of existing items, and installation of new ones. You're welcome to compare quotes from your local plumber.
- Charges will be added to your next Sydney Water bill.

Tap replacement
We can install tap sets from the range below at the quoted prices. We can also install tap sets that you supply. Price for labour only will depend on your tap set, plus callout fee. Plumber may require additional materials at extra cost.
Showerhead replacement
We can install showerheads from the range below at the quoted prices. We can also install showerheads that you supply. Price for labour only will be $11 for each replacement, plus callout fee. Plumber may require additional materials at extra cost.
Toilet replacement
We can install toilets from the range below at the quoted prices. We can also install a toilet that you supply. Price for labour only will be $220 each replacement ($110 to replace single-flush toilet), plus callout fee. Make sure your new toilet is a compatible replacement. Complete our WaterFix toilet checklist and call us on 1800 807 475 7:30am–5pm Monday to Friday (except public holidays). Plumber may require additional materials at extra cost.
