Work out how much water you use
Find out the average volume of water a property or piece of equipment uses daily. Enter a start and end date, or the number of days you're interested in, as far back as 1 July 2009. If you need to know the cost of the water a property has used for a specified time, calculate your water usage charge.
How to read a mechanical meter
The whole black number (or white number reversed out of black) is the kL. It's the only number required to calculate water use. The red numbers or dials are the litres. The location of the serial number varies. It depends on the brand of the meter. The meters below are our most current mechanical meters.
