Pre-treatment requirements

Commercial customers in our area of operation should use the trade wastewater pre‑treatment products listed below when required. Size them to meet your maximum hourly flow, and have them installed by a licensed plumber to meet Australian standards, Workplace Health and Safety standards, and our guidelines. We may ask you to remove pre-treatment items that are not listed. If you want to use a product that is not on the list, call 02 9616 2485 or 1300 985 227 to check first.

The Commercial Trade Wastewater Pre-treatment Equipment Standard outlines our minimum requirements for pre-treatment products to be used by commercial trade wastewater discharging customers in our area of operation.
