The fine for water theft is $2,200

Water theft is when someone uses water without a meter, which means they don't pay for it. If you know about a breach, you can report it anonymously. Please fill out this form, and provide as much information as you can.

Water theft is not the same as ignoring Water Wise Guidelines
Fines also apply to individuals and businesses that deliberately ignore current Water Wise Guidelines. If you're concerned about the potential misuse of water, make a report about Water Wise Guidelines.
