We're installing new wastewater pipes and other infrastructure to service Menangle's growing community.
We are enhancing the wastewater infrastructure in Menangle Park to support the growing community. This project is part of a broader strategy to ensure reliable and sustainable water services in the Greater Macarthur region. We are collaborating with the NSW Government to achieve this goal.
We are constructing new water and wastewater services in Menangle and Menangle Park. This work involves:
When finished, this infrastructure will service about 4,000 new homes in Menangle Park and support the delivery and connection of future wastewater services south of Menangle Park.
The new water main will connect Menangle Village to Menangle Park and boost supply, providing capacity for 750 new homes in the area.
Our work hours will be 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays. Our work involves construction activities and may be noisy at times. We understand this can be disruptive to residents and will do what we can to minimise the impact on you.
There may be some night work required to install the new water main, but we will notify residents and the local community before that starts.
Residents may notice additional traffic and heavy truck movements as we complete our work. To ensure the safety of our workers and the local community, traffic control will be in place to safely guide pedestrians and vehicles around our work areas.
Our delivery partner, the West Region Delivery Team, has started construction of the new wastewater pumping station located at the corner of Menangle Road and Danehill Avenue, Menangle Park.
