Report water theft

Water theft is when someone takes water from our network without permission. This includes using water at a property without a meter, tampering with a meter, or making an unauthorised connection.

The fine is $2,200 for individuals and $4,400 for corporations.

You can report water theft anonymously by completing this form. Provide as much information as you can to help us investigate.

Water theft is not the same as water misuse
Report water misuse if you see someone deliberately breaking Water Wise Guidelines.
