Evergreen tall round headed tree (35m x 20m) from Qld & NSW. Lance shaped shiny leathery leaves in whorls. White feathery flowers in spring followed by woody capsules. Useful for a shade; specimen or windbreak tree in a large garden. Tolerant of a wide range of conditions. Performs best in fertile moist well drained soil. Moderately frost tolerant. Drought tolerant. *Known to damage underground services, do not plant within 6 metres of any wastewater pipe.
