Evergreen loose clump forming grass (0.3m x 0.3m) from Europe. Soft two toned leaves glaucous blue on top dark green beneath. Small spikey panicles of purplish black flowers maturing silver green. Useful massed as a groundcover; as filler between larger grasses or for edging a pathway. Tolerates light foot traffic. Prefers partial shade position with well drained moist soil. Frost tolerant.
