Evergreen small spreading shrub (0.5m x 0.75) from WA. Bluish green soft crowded leaves on slender arching branches. Variable coloured flowers mostly in blue to deep blue in spring and summer. White flowering cultivar available. Useful for rock gardens and for colour splashes particularly in a bush garden. Needs sandy soil with perfect drainage. May be short lived and require replacing every few years. Suckering forms have improved life span. Frost tolerant. Moderately drought tolerant.
