    Liverpool (Mount Misery) Reservoir (WS 61) is a small reinforced concrete reservoir with thickened rib around the rim. Standard features include: inlet and outlet valve chambers. The reservoir has been taken out of service and stripped of most of its fittings. Full Service Level: 66 m. Capacity: 19 ML.

  • History
    Liverpool (Mount Misery) Reservoir (WS 61) was constructed in 1901. Liverpool had earlier been supplied with water from the Upper Canal via Liverpool Dam, constructed in 1890, two years after the completion of the Upper Nepean Scheme. The building of Liverpool (Mount Misery) Reservoir (WS 61) augmented the storage available. Liverpool Dam was itself cleaned and enlarged in 1933. Liverpool was connected to the metropolitan supply system in 1923.
