    Mobbs Hill Reservoir (WS 68) is a riveted steel cylindrical reservoir. An unusual feature is the attachment of the walkway to the outside of the rim of the reservoir, supported on L section struts. Standard features include: concrete apron, handrail in tubular steel, depth gauge board, davit, access ladder, inlet and outlet valve chambers. Plantings include archontophoenix palms. Full Service Level: 141 m. Capacity: 4.6 ML.

    The reservoir has been roofed to safeguard water quality (1960s-1970s).

  • History
    Mobbs Hill Reservoir (WS 68) was constructed in 1916 and a main laid from Ryde Pumping Station. Both storage and mains have been amplified since this date, with mains from Ryde to Mobbs Hill and on to Beecroft and Wahroonga added in 1918.
