In our new pricing determination for 2020-24, the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) decided that all non-residential properties are charged for wastewater usage based on their discharge factor only, without the allowance that was in the wastewater service charge. For more information, see our Wastewater charges for non-residential properties fact sheet.

IPART has also determined a minimum wastewater service charge for non-residential properties of $92.89 a quarter, which is 75% of the 20 mm service charge. Previously, the minimum charge was equivalent to the residential wastewater service charge. For more information, see  Prices for your home.
