    1. Background

    This project is for the full roof replacement, localised internal lining repairs, and installation of new stair tower for Newport Reservoir (WS0211). The project will be delivered as a design and construct contract.

    The scope of work broadly comprises of the following:

    Design and Construction - Roofing & Repair works – demolition of the existing roof structure including removal and disposal of existing roof elements and sheeting, installation of new steel roof members and installation of new aluminium roof sheeting, installation of internal ladder and platform, installation of new access hatches, equipment hatches and dosing ports, and localised repairs of the epoxy coating.

    Construction Only – Construction of a new access Stair Tower to service both WS0211 and WS0079.

    M1.2 Management System Accreditation

    M1.3 Demonstrated commitment to the CRC Construction Safety Competency Framework.

    M2 Assessed financial capability to perform the contract.

    M3 Quality Management System Certification to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000.
