    The Background Summary

    Provide consistent and suitable workplace accommodation across Sydney Water sites in line with recently upgraded facilities. Improve safety, collaboration and communication between staff and contractors; improve the physical condition of the existing buildings to meet current functional requirements and current building standards.

    Provide reliable, secure and suitable, energy efficient office accommodation, including staff amenities, storage, workshops, Labs, lifts, off-street car parking, IT facilities, cabling and security system.

    The Extent of work includes the following sites:

    1. Bondi, Waste Water treatment Plant WWTP (Building Upgrade)

    2. Malabar, Waste Water treatment Plant WWTP (Building Upgrade)

    3. Penrith, Water recycling Plant WRP (New Building)

    4. St. Marys, Water recycling Plant WRP (Building Upgrade)

    5. North Richmond, Water filtration Plant WFP (New Building)

    The scope of work broadly comprises modification to existing buildings or construction of new office buildings, workshops, storage facilities, Labs, IT Communications equipment rooms and cabling, landscaping and car parking as follows:
