Library and information services

Sydney Water provides a library and information service for its staff, our customers and the public. The collection consists of over 10,000 books and 200 journal titles focussing on water, wastewater, environment and engineering.

Our collection consists of:

• Sydney Water publications including reports, papers, newsletters, audiovisuals, with collections such as Sydney Water Annual Reports (from 1888), the Clean Waterways Program collection, and historical EPA/STP compliance reports;
• Water Industry year books and fact books, and annual reports of both Australian and International water companies;
• Reference publications focussed on the delivery of water and the collection of wastewater by Australian and International authors.

Public and student access

Public and student access is by appointment only. To ensure equitable access to resources and guard against congestion;

• Access is between the hours of 9 am and 12 midday, Monday to Friday
• The number of public or students accessing the Library will be limited to 2 at anytime
