Awards won

Sydney Water is a world leader in delivering essential and sustainable water solutions for the benefit of the community.

Our achievements are regularly awarded both locally and internationally. Recent wins:

• The desalination plant won 2011 desalination plant of the year at the Global Water Summit in Berlin.
• St Marys Water Recycling Project won the Sustainable Projects category of the NSW Project Management Achievement Awards. It also received a Highly Commended for Engineering Excellence.
• Our Contact Centre won three major awards at the 2011 NSW Australian Teleservices Association Awards including:
  • Contact Centre of the Year (for contact centres with 50-120 full time staff)
  • Contact Centre Manager of the Year
  • Team Leader of the Year.
• We won the NSW Customer Service Excellence Award for a state or federal owned organisation at the Customer Services Institute of Australia awards.
