All parameters complied with the guidelines during the quarter for the water leaving the water filtration plant. However, Total coliforms were detected in 1 out of a total of 13 samples collected during the quarter.

The Australian Drinking Water Guidelines for 1996 recognise that occasionally there will be test results above the Guidelines values. The Guidelines do not require a 100% result in all cases. Each positive test result is investigated and long-term actions are taken to minimise the risk of them happening again.

There is no requirement to sample free chlorine or monochloramine, fluoride and trihalomethanes in the raw water.

* Australian Drinking Water Guidelines, NH&MRC 1996, normally reported on an annual basis. This represents a quarterly result only.

** No guideline set for raw water

# Not required

Raw water is defined as the water entering the Water Filtration Plant from the dam
Filtered Water is defined as the water leaving the Water Filtration Plant
