The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) sets recycled water prices for the Rouse Hill scheme. IPART has determined new prices from 2008-09 to 2011-12.
From 1 July 2008 to 30 June 2012, the price of recycled water is calculated at 80% of the drinking water charge. Recycled water is treated to a high standard and is a valuable resource.
Plumbing a house for recycled water and drinking water is more expensive than for a normal house. You should discuss this with your builder during construction.
