WaterFix

Reduce your water use by about 21,000 litres1 of water a year by participating in WaterFix.

From just $222 you get up to $180 worth of plumbing services. A qualified plumber will visit your home to install water saving devices, including a water efficient showerhead. You can save up to $79 in water and energy costs each year.

Our qualified plumbers can WaterFix your home any time from 7am to 8pm weekdays and 8am to 2pm Saturdays. There's no waiting around because we guarantee a half-hour appointment window.

Choose your new showerhead now or keep your existing one

Take a look at the Basic and Premium Range of showerheads and choose your favourite. Your one off $222 payment includes one showerhead from the Basic Range. If you choose a showerhead from the Premium Range, the program will cost $662. Or we can simply convert your existing one by placing a flow regulator inside the showerhead.

How to take up this offer

Simply register online. Sydney Water will then phone you to make an appointment. You can also register by phoning (toll-free) 1800 995 886 between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 2pm Saturday.

Renting?

WaterFix charges will appear on your landlord's bill. Be sure to download a letter template (DOC - 40KB) asking your landlord for permission to take part in WaterFix.

NSW Energy Savings Scheme

As part of receiving this offer, you must nominate Sydney Water to register Energy Savings Certificates (ESCs) for all emissions saved by your participation in the program. The plumber will ask you to sign a form at your appointment to nominate Sydney Water. For more information about the scheme visit www.ess.nsw.gov.au.

The Australian Government, in collaboration with State and Territory governments, has introduced a Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (WELS) Scheme, which applies national mandatory water efficiency labelling and minimum performance standards to household water-using products.
