What is the Dual Flush Toilet Rebate?

As part of the NSW Government's Climate Change Fund, you can get a rebate of $200 if you replace your single flush toilet with a dual flush toilet that has a 4 star or higher water efficiency rating.

A list of eligible toilets is available on the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards website.

How do I claim my rebate?

You need to:

• read and accept the terms and conditions
• have a licensed plumber install your dual flush toilet
• complete and sign the rebate application form
• make sure your plumber completes and signs Sections 4 and 5 of the application form
• attach original receipt(s) showing full payment of the dual flush toilet
• send your completed application form to:

There is a limit of one 4 star dual flush toilet rebate per property.

When will I receive my $200 rebate?

If you have provided all the necessary details, we will pay most rebates within 60 days.

The Dual Flush Rebate is one of a suite of NSW Home Saver Rebates funded through the NSW Government's Climate Change Fund. From 15 January 2010, the total amount of Home Saver Rebate payments a household can receive cannot exceed $1,500 per property. This does not include:
