Plant Selector Water Drops Rating Scheme

The Plant Selector Water Drop Rating Scheme allows you to make informed decisions about the amount of water your plants need.

The less water drops a plant has the less water it needs.

Number of water drops	Description of water requirements
	Low water use: these plants generally won't need water in addition to average rainfall in the region selected.
	Medium water use: these plant will only need water in addition to average rainfall during extended period of hot, dry weather in the region selected.
	High water use: these plants will regularly need water in addition to average rainfall for the region selected.

Watering requirements will vary according to region and available sunlight. You can find out more about your region including average rainfall and common soil type by selecting your region on the map legend.
