Location

West of the Nepean Hawkesbury River on a sandstone plateau extending to Colo Heights northwards and Mt Wilson and Mt Victoria westwards.

Vegetation Types

Eucalypt Woodland and open Forests. Closed Forest. Swamps .

Soils

Shallow Hawkesbury Sandstone derived soils and pockets of volcanics weathered to moist fertile clay soil.

Altitude

Ranging from 100m at Lapstone to 1300 metres above sea level at Mt Victoria.

Average 1000mm-1400mm per year.
