Evergreen clump forming perennial. (0.6m tall) from South Africa. Long strap shaped leaves. Flowers blue or white bell shaped held in a ball at end of erect 1m stem in summer. Useful for bank stabilisation; border edges and mass planting. Dwarf forms available. Minor invasive weed potential near bushland. Moderately salt tolerant. Drought tolerant and moderately frost tolerant.
