Evergreen rounded tall shrub (4m x 2.5m) from Qld; NSW (including Sydney) & SA. Linear leaves with pointed ends. Globular heads of creamy yellow flowers in spring and summer followed by knobbly clusters of capsules. Useful as a screen or feature. Tolerant of salt spray and poor drainage. Frost and drought tolerant. Additional irrigation above natural rainfall may be required if growing conditions do not replicate the plant's natural occurrence.
