    Background Summary

    Sydney Water Corporation (“Sydney Water”) is a statutory State owned corporation under the Sydney Water Act 1994 (NSW) and operates under the State Owned Corporations Act 1989 (NSW).

    Sydney Water provides water and wastewater services to the Sydney metropolitan, Illawarra and Blue Mountains regions. Sydney Water has maintained the reputation of being a leader in water and wastewater service in Australia by providing this service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

    The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to engage a panel of providers to undertake the Services in the following four (4) Separable Portions: Separable Portion 1: Demolition Services

    Separable Portion 2: Site Contamination Remediation Services

    Separable Portion 3: Hazardous Building Materials Management Services

    Separable Portion 4: Other related Civil Services such as construction of access roads, council cross overs, kerbs and laybacks, driveways, curbs and gutters, bush clearing and landscaping, perimeter fencing and roofing, concrete works & repairs and any other civil works allocated to the Successful Proponent(s) from time to time.

    The above services are required throughout Sydney Water’s asset base and area of operations to support the property disposal program, maintenance operations and civil & construction activities.

    It is expected that Sydney Water will engage suitable contractor(s) for each Separable Portion for a term of up to five years. Proponents may submit proposals for one or more Separable Portions.

    Successful Proponents who become designated panel providers for a Separable Portion of Services would be engaged under the panel and invited, based on on-going performance, to provide proposals on specific projects based on the contractually agreed schedule of rates. Projects would be allocated to panel members based on the submitted proposals proposed commercial value, methodology, delivery schedule, project timeframe and past performance and KPI Score.

    M1.1 WHS Questionnaire

    M1.2 Hazard Control Plan

    M1.3 Past WHS performance

    M2 Evidence of valid safety management system accreditation to the 5th Edition of the NSW Government WH&S Guidelines or equivalent accreditation with the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner

    M3 Evidence of appropriate EPA and SafeWork NSW, formerly WorkCover NSW, licencing to carry out the services

    M4 Assessed Financial Capability
