Sydney Water no longer reviews sanitary drainage hydraulic plans for compliance with plumbing requirements. You are responsible for ensuring that your design complies with relevant plumbing codes and the Australian standard AS 3500.

Large water main connections
if you're applying for a large water main connection to Sydney Water's network, you must submit hydraulic plans to Sydney Water via a Quick Check agent. The plans will be checked against the development application and the Notice of Requirements to assess the impact on our networks.
