Diagrams and prints

A Sewerage Service Diagram (SSD) shows the location of private wastewater service pipes on a property. The current wastewater special conditions for the plumber are shown on the Application Lodgement summary when you buy the diagram.

A Service Location Print (SLP) shows the location of Sydney Water's pipes and structures in relation to a property's boundaries. The SLP also shows the point of connection for the property's private wastewater service.

Buying SSDs and SLPs

SSDs and SLPs are available for purchase from Quick Check agents or online from Property Link brokers.

Updating SSDs - plumber's responsibility

Plumbers must submit an updated or new SSD to NSW Fair Trading when drainage work is completed and an inspection booked for any residential, commercial or industrial properties. They can be:

Sewerage Service Diagrams are then sent to Sydney Water for record of the updated diagram. These are available for purchase from Quick Check agents.

AutoCAD templates must be submitted in PDF format. Adjust the A3 or A4 template for larger drawings.
