Under the Metropolitan Water Plan, Sydney Water is helping to secure our water for life. This includes implementing large scale water recycling schemes , helping customers use water efficiently , reducing leaks and planning for desalination as an option in severe and prolonged drought conditions.
In addition, regular quarterly water storage and consumption levels are reported in Sydney Water's Quarterly Water Quality Report .
