North West and South West Growth centres - remaining precincts

The Environmental Assessment for the remaining precincts will be assessed under Part 3A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

A Preliminary Environmental Assessment (PEA) has been submitted to the Department of Planning (DoP) and is available, along with the Director-General's Requirements, on the DoP website.

The PEA outlines Sydney Water's plans to service the Growth Centres, as well as plans for environmental assessment and stakeholder consultation.

Over the course of the assessment Sydney Water will consult directly and indirectly affected stakeholders including residents and landowners. Once the environmental assessment is complete, it will be placed on exhibition and stakeholders will be invited to comment on the proposal.

Throughout the assessment residents may notice survey work in their area. Residents and landowners will be notified prior to any survey work on private property.
