Sydney Water's Climate Change Strategy outlines the framework for reducing greenhouse emissions and achieving carbon neutrality. The framework is based on a range of the options and continual monitoring and review aimed at energy use avoidance, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and carbon offsets.
Emissions will be offset through the use of carbon credits generated by Sydney Water.
The commitments made in the Climate Change Strategy will be delivered through the Climate Change Action Plan, which is included in Sydney Water's Environment Plan and key actions reported in the Annual Report.
