As a non-profit, non-government, community based organisation, the National Trust works to conserve Australia's built, natural and cultural heritage. The Trust plays an important role on heritage committees with government departments, councils, developers and other community organisations.
Sydney Water has a long-standing relationship with the National Trust, working together for many years in developing our heritage planning strategies.
The Heritage Festival is one of the National Trust's main calendar events to celebrate the conservation of Australia's wonderful and unique heritage. In 2006, we were proud sponsors of the Heritage Festival, which focused on industrial heritage.
