Graduate Program

Applications for the 2011 Graduate Program intake are open in March 2010.

Sydney Water's Graduate Program offers learning and development opportunities by combining rotational placements, formal training and coaching over three to four years. Graduates have the opportunity to work in varying discipline areas, a range of locations and on a diverse variety of projects.

The program was developed to provide a pool of future professionals whose ideas, knowledge and skills will shape the future of the organisation.

The program has two key elements:

• A multidisciplinary three year program involving on the job experience through a series of rotational placements.
• Skill development by participating in personal development and career building courses.

Sydney Water aims to:

• enrich each graduate's knowledge and skills in their own area of professional interest
• create a foundation for graduate careers by providing additional training and scope for movement within other discipline areas.
