Developer Works Deed and Standard Terms

If you need to deviate or extend Sydney Water's pipes you and your Developer Infrastructure Providers (Providers) will need to enter into a Developer Works Deed (PDF - 338KB) with Sydney Water. All of the conditions for the Deed are set down in the Standard Terms (PDF - 752KB) document.

You and your Providers need to sign the Deed before the design of the works is submitted to Sydney Water. However, if you have not engaged your Constructor by then, you must still submit the Deed with all the other signatures so we can execute it. The Constructor must then sign a Deed Poll (PDF - 246KB) before they start constructing the work.

After signing the Developer Works Deed, if you wish to transfer ownership of the development site to another party then the new developer and the continuing parties will need to sign a Novation Deed (PDF - 329KB) .
