Sydney Water has extended all existing Developer Infrastructure Provider Agreements until June 2012.
Sydney Water will not be accepting any new applications for Providers to the Asset Creation Developer Process. We will review our position on new Provider accreditation after June 2012.
Training for accreditation
Providers who require training and assessment for accreditation are referred to the NSW Water Training and Assessment Network (WTAN) for all information on training courses for Sydney Water Accreditation Requirements and Trainers/Assessors.
Your training must cover the following units of competency:
Water Construction - NWP233B
Wastewater Construction (construct wastewater collection assets) - NWP250B
Minor Works (install junctions and sidelines) - NWP255B
Access Chambers (construct and/or repair minor structures) - NWP229B
Water connection Services - NWP253B
Confined spaces - RIIOHS202A Enter and work in confined spaces or BCCCM2009B Work in confined space or NWP219A Work safely in confined spaces.
